If you’re a Realtor or real estate agent getting listings is one of the best ways to maintain consistent income.
And let’s fact it, consistent income is hard to come by for the average real estate agent.
So, what sets the struggling Realtor from the savvy Realtor closing deals every month, getting listings, and making it look easy in the process?
Marketing!
A Story About A Struggling Personal Trainer
Before I was a full-time online entrepreneur (and Realtor, yes I am one also) I was a personal trainer working one on one with clients.
I was (and still am) a really good personal trainer. It didn’t take me long to full my schedule.
I would start my day at 4 a.m. and end my days at 8 p.m.
The money was pretty good, but pretty soon I was BURNT OUT.
I started studying how to make money while I wasn’t trading time for dollars and it was harder that the “experts” made it sound,
Until, one day it clicked!
The personal trainers who were making the most money, weren’t the best personal trainers, they were the BEST marketers.
The same goes for most industries.
Especially in real estate.
Of course, you have to be a great Realtor, but I guarantee if you were to ask a real estate agent who makes 1 million/year and a realtor who makes $30K/year if they thought they were a good Realtor, both would say YES, right?
How To Become A Good Marketer
Marketing doesn’t have to be complicated.
All you need are a few essential elements:
1.) Hook
This is essentially what differentiates you from other real estate agent’s marketing. In Austin, TX (my market) we have Realtors who’ve branded themselves as “Southwest Austin’s #1 Realtor” or “Austin’s Rockin Realtor” or “Austin’s Pretty Good Realtor.”
Something catchy that niche’s them down in a way.
2.) Story
Do you have something unique to share? A unique story? A cool reason you became a Realtor? We all have a story, right?
So, the story part of marketing is easy, because all you’re doing is sharing your experiences. Life, real estate, family, financial, etc…
3.) Offer
Here’s where you “close” them. WHAT exactly are you offering your prospect?
In the case of the free sales funnel I’m giving you today, you’re going to be offering a Home Evaluation. But, why don’t you take it step further.
Offer a Custom Home Staging Consultation or a Home Seller/Buyer Checklist
You want your prospect to perceive YOU as the expert. Why choose YOU over the thousands of other Realtors?
Remember, our prospects are always asking ONE simple question: “What’s In It For ME?”
I learned this from one of my marketing mentors, Russell Brunson, CEO of ClickFunnels (more on ClickFunnels later).

Where To Run Ads To Your New Funnel
Facebook Ads!
With over a billion monthly active users, Facebook is the largest social network in the world. And Facebook isn’t just for the young…
user activity spans from the Greatest Generation to Millennials.
Pretty much everyone is on Facebook.
Including your ideal clients!
Which is why businesses and professionals responsible for building their brand, cultivating leads and prospects, and staying in touch
with customers can’t ignore Facebook. With the new tools, advanced advertising platform, and emphasis on storytelling
with video, it’s never been a better time to use Facebook to market and grow your business.
But the rules have completely changed since the early days of using Facebook to simply engage people online. Firms and professionals
looking for free promotion are seeing the results from their activities dwindle to the point where they can no longer justify the
energy or effort.
Using Facebook requires strategies like:
1. Building a Brand with content designed to leave a remarkable impression on your Facebook Page.
2. Telling stories about people connected to your business using rich media such as video and photos.
3. Producing results or outcomes to achieve strategic and tactical business objectives.
4. Using Facebook’s paid advertising platform to find customers and promote the right messages.
By using these new strategies, you can access your customers and prospects the way Facebook intends you to connect with them… so
you can reap the benefits of meeting your customers where they are at… online and on Facebook!
