There are a ton of survey sites out there, some with faster payoff for less effort than others. But today I’m going to walk you through a survey site that requires you to do absolutely nothing. That’s right. All you have to do is install this app on your device(s) to get paid.
First things first, who is Nielsen Research?
You may have heard of the Nielsen TV ratings which helps networks decide which shows get renewed and how much advertisers should be charged for each tv program. More broadly, Nielsen Media Research measures media audiences for not only television but also radio, theater, and newspapers. Nielsen is a marketing research company that has been around forever (like, 90 years old). They conduct consumer research and collect data on how we consume media and content, what products we buy, and through what websites. They in turn sell this market research data to companies so that the brand can improve their messaging and offering to their audiences. So in providing the data on consumer habits, we are indirectly helping to improve brands’ products (and also get paid for providing our opinions).
So how does this Nielson computer panel work?
Again, what Nielsen (and the brand they support) are seeking to understand is how you are using your internet connected devices like smartphones, tablets, and computers. In particular, they are looking for insight into how you consume information and content: what you are searching for, watching and reading, and buying online. This data tells Nielsen’s clients how consumers ingest content and how. They are also interested in how their online messaging and advertising is performing when it comes to trends in buying habits and purchasing patterns. Did the advertising work? Did you end up buying the product and when?
Once you install the app, it will work silently in the background. It is a passive income app in the truest sense. The information that is collected over time is worth $50+ to them per device as long as you keep the app installed. You are also entered into a number of giveaways like monthly $10,000 rewards!

First you will need to follow this link to get started.
You will land on a page that looks like this:
Click on that green button that says “Get Started”. From there, you will follow the simple registration process, starting with basic account information.
User accounts are for an entire household. You will need to list all members of the household two-years-old and up. You will also have to include basic employment information (industry, size of company if relevant) and household income range.
You will then need to register each device in your household. Again, this include any computers, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
The series of questions is roughly the same for each device. So if you are registering two phones, two laptops, and two tablets for your household, you will have to complete this page for each device, six times in total. 
From there you will need to enter your contact information that will be used to collect rewards.
Once you complete the registration, you will be prompted to download the Nielsen app. Make sure to follow all of the instructions to make sure that the app reforms correctly and you can collect your rewards!
Once the installation is complete you may also want to go to account then devices to confirm that the app was properly installed on your device(s) and that you are now set up to collect your $$. You may then download the app on all eligible devices associated with the account to collect $50 per device. Remember in order to collect your reward(s) you must actually use the device so that there is data for them to collect.
Bottom line
Getting set up is pretty much as painless as it gets. This whole registration process should take you about fifteen minutes. From there, you won’t even notice the app in the background as you carry on with your day to day. In that sense, it’s the true definition of passive income, earning extra money with Nielsen computer and mobile panel. Unfortunately, it is not possible to scale that passive income like you can with other survey sites by putting in more time, taking more surveys.
