Ok, are you done eating all the cookies? Let’s get back to the review of ClickFunnels software.
This review is going to give you the good, bad, ugly, and everything in between if you’re interested in trying ClickFunnels for you online business.
The Proof Is In The Pudding
Jeez, all this talk about cookies and pudding, you would think this review is about FunnelCakes not ClickFunnels. Honestly, I’m surprised Russell Brunson, the mastermind behind ClickFunnels hasn’t created a product called “FunnelCakes.”
He has FunnelScripts, FunnelU, FunnelGraffiti, FunnelImmersion, FunnelCakes…just kidding about the last one, just checking if you’re paying attention.
Needless to say, he likes funnels. The ClickFunnels slogan is “You’re just one funnel away!”
I’ll be updating this article every month until the end of 2017 to see my progress, but I’m projected to make just under $100,000, BUT I’m going to push hard to clear the magical “six-figure” mark so I call myself a “guru.”
Just kidding…I already call myself that! Kidding again…or am I?
As you can see I’m still using SamCart for my order forms for reasons. Mostly because I’m too lazy/procrastinating moving my order forms to ClickFunnels (which has pretty awesome order forms too).
You can customize an order form in ClickFunnels by adding testimonials, reviews, videos, and pretty much anything you want to boost conversions.
I’ve been full-time online since May 2016 and haven’t looked back since. It’s been full of ups and downs and currently averaging close to $8,000/month. My goal is to get to $10,000/month consistently while maintaining my current lifestyle hanging out with my wife and 2 little girls, traveling, being a foodie, and hacking funnels on the side.
That’s one of my favorite things about ClickFunnels, time-saving. Sure, it’s really easy to start, maintain, and profit from an online business using ClickFunnels software, however, TIME is my most valuable possession.
If you can save me time (and make me money), I’ll gladly pay you $97, $197, and even $297 a month.
The Ultimate ClickFunnels Review For 2025
I’ll start with my favorite aspects of ClickFunnels and things I think you’ll care most about:
1.) Overall ClickFunnels Is Easy To Use
Sure, there is a learning curve if you’re not very techy, but if I can figure it out, anyone can. Don’t you sometimes hate when people say that? Me too..
If you’re new to WordPress, internet marketing, digital products, lead magnets, and all things business, it will be tough at first and probably pretty overwhelming.
ClickFunnels CAN be simple or you can make it complicated. I suggest you keep things simple, like I’ll show you in this video to create your first sales funnel in 10 minutes.
If you’re new and you think ClickFunnels is “too much” right now, think again. Why not start with the best? That’s how I view it. I WISH I would have skipped over OptimizePress, LeadPages, and even trying to learn how to code my own website (that lasted a whole 3 days).
2.) ClickFunnels Is The Best and Most Intuitive Sales Page Builder EVER
I’m a young whippersnapper when it comes to Internet Marketing, but I’ve used a few different sales page builders, templates, WordPress plugins, and everything in between.
I think it’s called Entrepreneurial ADD, but I’ve tried these page builders:
- Leadpages
- WordPress
- Thrive Themes
- Unbounce
- Optimize Press
- Get Response
- Builderall
With ClickFunnels you almost don’t even need to learn how to use the page builder since it comes with tons of landing page, sales page, and order form templates to start using with a few clicks and integrations.
If you do want to customize a page, it’s literally as easy as dragging, dropping, clicking, and typing. No coding, no jumping through hoops to integrate your email marketing or payment processor, and best of all it’s FAST!
3.) ClickFunnels Is An Integration MACHINE
One of the things that makes ClickFunnels better than the rest of the list above is the ease of integrations.
Email Marketing – Aweber, Getreponse, Constant Contact, MailChimp, ConvertKit, etc… ClickFunnels will easily integrate with any email marketing automation software.
It has it’s own email marketing called Actionetics, but if you’re like me you are using one of the ones listed above AND in order to use Actionetics, you’ll need the $297/month plan.

4.) ClickFunnels Has Clean Landing Pages, OTOs, Sales Pages, Order Forms, OH MY!
Is it just me or is it still a head-scracther that scammy and salesy websites are still the best sellers on the internet? Look at ClickBank products. Some of those products are sold on the SCAMMIEST websites and they are making 1000s a day.
Some of ClickFunnels’ pages are scammy and sales looking, but IT WORKS! So, why try to reinvent the wheel?
You can choose a high-converting landing page template, an easy to build sales page, and a done for you order form and be up and running in a few minutes or hours if you need to write your copy.

5.) ClickFunnels Makes Making Money Easy and Excuse-Free
Every entrepreneur has ups and downs, especially mentally. We are our biggest critics, to the point of what I call “paralysis by analysis.”
You know what I’m talking about:
- Never launching your blog because the theme isn’t right, your logo needs tweaking, or you don’t have enough posts
- Never creating a product, because it’s not good enough, no one will see results from it, or it’s not perfect enough
The list can go on and on and you know it!
ClickFunnels makes excuse-making harder, therefore it makes making money EASIER!
Alright, now I’ll go into some negatives I’ve personally experienced or have heard through the Funnel Grapevine
1.) A Few Bugs, But Getting Better
I joined ClickFunnels about a year and half ago and just like any brand new SAAS company, it had a few bugs.
I personally, haven’t experienced a bug inside of ClickFunnels in almost 1 year and I’m in there everyday. I see a few posts inside the ClickFunnels Facebook Group, but it’s mostly people who are confused about something or aren’t solution-oriented.
You”ll run into problems in your business, you just have to take a breathe, CHILL, log into your ClickFunnels account and figure it out.
2.) Customer Service Is Bad, But Only Sometimes
I really don’t think this is true, but I see other ClickFunnels users complain about it, although not enough to cancel their account.
I’ve only had one instance where ClickFunnels customer service was unable to fix a problem I’ve had and it really wasn’t ClickFunnels fault.
I had a separate SEO WordPress plugin that was conflicting with my ClickFunnels WordPress Plugin causing a weird Meta Data glitch. Guess what? I figured it out on my own and now I feel like a SUPER-HERO, because now I know what “meta-data” is.
For $97-$297 per month, we should expect pretty good customer service and I think that’s a good way to sum up ClickFunnels support team – pretty good.
You can hire funnel consultants and designers for thousands of bucks or you can shell out $97 and deal with “pretty good” customer service. Hey, at least you don’t have to tip!
3.) Watch Your Bank Account Drop
ClickFunnels has a never-ending stream of products to sell, upsell, downsell, cross-sell, and sell-sell you after joining ClickFunnels. In fact, most people probably join ClickFunnels from a free book or other product.
They have products ranging from free to $25,000 and I think even a 1 million dollar coaching program. It’s pretty insane. And for a newbie like I was, it’s overwhelming, scary, and difficult to overcome.
I get it.
You think you HAVE to do all of that to run a successful business. You don’t.
Start with ONE product. ONE message. Just ONE.
It’s tempting to buy everything they have to offer and if you can, feel free. Go nuts. But really all you need is the ClickFunnels software and a dream.
4.) A Learning Curve
Unfortunately, you can’t just sign-up for ClickFunnels and know everything there is to know about online marketing, funnels, automation, and more…
I tried that 1 year ago…it didn’t work.
You have to LEARN and take ACTION. If it weren’t for reading DotCom Secrets and Expert Secrets I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today.
